Somehow the calendar description always turns HTML (and even line breaks) into codes, as far as I understand this should not happen. Any suggestion what to do?

Did you put that html into text editor of the event instead of visual editor ?

Thanks for your support! Yes I put them in the visual editor, but after saving it shows the HTML coding instead of the formatting...
