When I try to upload a video this is the Error Message I get, time after time after time after time.

I've reinstalled the plug in maybe a hundred times.

I only get it when I am uploading a video.

Are you using a multi-site installation of WordPress?
If yes, you should "Network Deactivate" Spider Video Player from the Network Admin and activate it for every site separately.

Here is my setup.

I have a local webserver running on windows 2008 with wordpress on it. It is accessed by 8 computers on the same internal network.
I have installed the plugin from my Mac by logging on to the site. Got the error message.
I have also installed the plugin by remote desktop. Neither way works.
I don't have a multi site installation.

The error message shows when I try to add a video.

The error message means that Spider Video Player cannot find the MySQL table, where it stores the videos. Please give us a link to your site and temporary admin user account, and we will try to find out the problem as soon as possible.

I can't send you that information, my webserver is on a closed network. Also seems like quite a security risk if I could.

Tell me where in the spider config I can change the info about MySQL and I'll take a look.

Probably you are using multisite version of wordpress. If this is the case please follow these steps to install player correctly:

1. Delete the Spider player plugin (if installed)
2. From Network Admin account install the Spider Video Player plugin.
3. DO NOT press the "Network Activate" button.
4. Go to your Site Admin account and activate the plugin from there.

Repeat step 4 for all other sites you want the plugin to be installed.

Hello again,

I am sure I don't have a multisite version of wordpress.
There is no Network Activate button. The only option I have is to Activate or Deactivate it.
On my site list the only site I have is my own.

I think there might be a permissions problem or ownership problem of the folder where it is installed. Do you know if this could cause the error message I get?
