I would like the ability to put products under more than one category.

I want to set up sub-categories for the lifters, but some can be side or front loaders. The automated products are side and front loaders. I assumed this was built in and told the client...oops.

But can a product be in more than one subcategory? I'm running version 2.3.

No, a product can be under one Category or Subcategory.

Being that you cannot (yet) assign more than one (sub)category to a product
that means you have to add the same product as many time as the other categories you need them to appear on, correct?

If that's the case then perhaps Web-Dorado can add a new function that
simply duplicates a product record and you could easily just change the category.
