It appears that the event categories are being shown under both the widget and the calendars in white colored links. I would like so that they do not appear under either the widget and the calendar. I can find no way to prevent them from showing.

Ok - I just deleted all event categories so they do not show (not that important for this calendar) but I would like to reclaim that empty space below the widget and the calendar. Is there a way to comment them out? See attached.
