Can you help. Recently updated to the News Magazine theme downloaded from WordPress and the Slider Options aren't showing. NewsPress 4.0 is the version I'm using and aside from the title on the slider page there is not options showing for modification.

Could you please check the Javascript errors in the developer console of your browser? Also please turn on the error reporting of your site and check for warnings and notices in Slider tab of theme options.
