it seems that the option "required" does not work on additional parameters added.
(eg: a select with colors choice).

I would like the choice silk "required" (frontend) and stored since the start of the procurement process of a product until the end of the product purchase procedure.

This is best seen with the star character *

If you add a select field with multiple choices, the first one automatically becomes the default value, so there is no way for the user to make a purchase without selecting the item color because the default value is already selected.

As you can see from the screenshot, there is no automatic default choice ...
Is it I who make a mistake when creating the color selector ?

We replied to your email.

Following our mail exchanges, I did an update of my site ecommercewd (local) as you told me to do. Me saying that the bug was fixed in this update.

After performing this update, i see that the bug persist (the select field has no preset color as it should be normal).

So i used the versrion you changed my website in prodution and i crushed my local website with these file and then everything worked properly, the select field is pre-filled with the correct colors.

Conclusion: It seems that your latest version is not yet included the patch you made for the select field.

Can you confirm this?

Here are the changes that we performed:

In views/products/displayproduct.php file we put lines 335-340 into comment as they are responsible for empty value in select option


In views/shoppingcart/displayshoppingcart.php

lines 117-122 turned to comment for the same result in shopping cart.
