I want to display 9 instagram images with most number of likes in descending order, refresh it in every few minutes and after an interval of 30 min display only top 3 liked images also store there values( unique id or something) so it does not appear again.

is this possible using this plugin.

Instagram Feed WD does have the functionality to sort by likes, but kindly note, that unfortunately the updating functionality with a certain interval is not available in the plugin.

currently im sorting images based on likes in decreasing order, but the highest likes coming to my website (for that hashtag) and the highest likes showing on instagram site is different. Why is that?

I think "/media/recent" has some role in it, its calling recent images, but i want images having maximum likes no matter if they are recent or not.
can you tell me how is the plugin working? and how can i get images with maximum likes?

Hi Aishwary!

You are correct. Please make the number of images displayed on your feed larger. You can set the number of images per page to a small value, but the total number of images should be large in order to bring up an older image, which has more likes.

Kindly note, that the plugin takes the last N number of images, and then sorts by likes, and not the other way around. But this is not a bug, it's the functionality Instagram API provides.
