TOPIC: Spider Calendar Prompts website visitors for Login Credential

Spider Calendar Prompts website visitors for Login Credential 9 years 1 month ago #25213

Has anyone seen this problem before on Joomla?
I've installed Spider Calendar paid version, customised colours the way I want them and added over eight events, all with popups for information. I've disabled anyone from adding, deleting or editing events from the front end.

The problem is that when visitors go to the website and click on a calendar event, they are prompted for a user name and password. Clicking on either Cancel or login from the login popup (without any credentials) results in the popup being displayed correctly. I don't want website visitors to see a login popup but can't find a way to disable it. Support can't help me without an Admin account for my website and I am not about to give a complete stranger that kind of access.

Any ideas would be much appreciated. The website is oakssporthorses.com - the link to the calendar is oakssporthorses.com/news/osh-events-calendar

Sorry - can't provide login details to my website to you. I'm not sure why this is such a difficult issue to resolve, logically if there are no updates enabled from the front end your plugin should not prompt for login credentials.

Disappointed - this product gets a big thumbs down from me. After a lot of work I will now need to take it down from my website - waste of my time and money.
