To test it out first before I buy, I have installed the Lite version but my event does not show.

I cannot see the event I entered into my calendar.

I checked my install with your instructions and found that in the 'Edit an Event for the calendar', I cannot select a category. The option drop down only shows --Select Category --.

I assume this is maybe why I can't see the event which does show up in the event area.

Also I would like the calendar to be in the centre of the article I have pasted it into, but the joomla editor 'center' tag does not work with it.

Please check if you have created category before selecting it.

Hi, I hadn't done that but it is there and all okay.

We have a couple of shows with different names and they play different venues.

Ideally we would like both the show name and the venue showing on the date.

How can this be done please?

Yes you can add both of them to event. Can you please tell us what's your issue ?

I'm sorry to take your time however i am not sure how I can show both the show name and then venue.

This is what I have done. In the Manage Events area I have named the venue as the title of the event and in the Categories have named the category as the name of the show.

Doing this still only event Title and the times show on my calendar , not the show name.

Obviously I am not doing something correctly.

We would advise you to set the show name as title and the venue as description to it.
