Step 6: Page Templates

To add a new page for your website you need to go Page > Add New.
You can customize the created pages using Page Attributes, My Custom Meta Box and SEO Expert.
Page Attributes. You can customize the order and templates of the page here.

  • Parent. Choose the parent page for the created page. You can also choose to have no parent page.
  • Template. You can choose the page template from the following options:Default Template, Blog Page, Contact Page, Login Page, News Page, Portfolio Page, Search Page, Sitemap Page, Gallery Page.
  • Order. You can define the order of appearance for the pages providing number for each page.

My Custom Meta Box. You can customize the layout of the page here. Customization possibilities differ depending on the chosen page template.
Default Template

  • Layout. You can choose the layout of the page from provided options.
  • Content Area Width. You can specify the content area width of the page.
  • Main Column Width. You can specify the main column width of the page.
  • Primary Widget Area Width. In case of two sidebar layout you can specify the primary widget area.
  • Full Width Page. By checking the box the content area of your page will be stretched to the full width of the screen.
  • Show Comment Form. By checking the box you can enable comment box on your page.

Blog Page

  • Layout. You can choose the layout of the page from provided options.
  • Content Area Width. You can specify the content area width of the page.
  • Main Column Width. You can specify the main column width of the page.
  • Primary Widget Area Width. In case of two sidebar layout you can specify the primary widget area.
  • Full Width Page. By checking the box the content area of your page will be stretched to the full width of the screen.
  • Blog Style Mode. You can choose to display shorter post previews for blog posts checking the box.
  • Hide Auto Thumbnail. You can check the box if you do not want the thumbnails to be automatically displayed.
  • Number of Posts per Page. Define the number of posts to be displayed for the page.
  • Select Blog Categories. Select the categories of the posts to be displayed within the page.
  • Show Comment Form. By checking the box you can enable comment box on your page.

Contact Page

  • Layout. You can choose the layout of the page from provided options.
  • Content Area Width. You can specify the content area width of the page.
  • Main Column Width. You can specify the main column width of the page.
  • Primary Widget Area Width. In case of two sidebar layout you can specify the primary widget area.
  • Full Width Page. By checking the box the content area of your page will be stretched to the full width of the screen.
  • Email To: Provide an email to receive user-generated messages.
  • Show Comment Form. By checking the box you can enable comment box on your page.

Login Page

  • Layout. You can choose the layout of the page from provided options.
  • Content Area Width. You can specify the content area width of the page.
  • Main Column Width. You can specify the main column width of the page.

  • Full Width Page. By checking the box the content area of your page will be stretched to the full width of the screen.

News Page

  • Layout. You can choose the layout of the page from provided options.
  • Content Area Width. You can specify the content area width of the page.
  • Main Column Width. You can specify the main column width of the page.
  • Primary Widget Area Width. In case of two sidebar layout you can specify the primary widget area.
  • Full Width Page. By checking the box the content area of your page will be stretched to the full width of the screen.

  • Full Width Page. By checking the box the content area of your page will be stretched to the full width of the screen.
  • Show Titles. Select to display the title of the post.
  • Show Descriptions.Select to display the short content of the post.
  • Thumbnail Size.Select the thumbnail size for the images from available 3 options.
  • Number of posts per page. Define the number of posts to be displayed for the page.
  • Select Blog Categories. Select the categories of the posts to be displayed within the page.
  • Show Comment Form. By checking the box you can enable comment box on your page.

Search Page
There are no customizable fields for this page.
Sitemap Page

  • Layout. You can choose the layout of the page from provided options.
  • Content Area Width. You can specify the content area width of the page.
  • Main Column Width. You can specify the main column width of the page.
  • Primary Widget Area Width. In case of two sidebar layout you can specify the primary widget area.
  • Full Width Page. By checking the box the content area of your page will be stretched to the full width of the screen.
  • Show Comment Form. By checking the box you can enable comment box on your page.
  • Page Content

Please check the box next to the page types to display them in the sitemap.

    • Static Pages: Provide a name for the list of static pages or leave it to default version.
    • All Categories: Provide a name for the list of all categories or leave it to default version.
    • Tags: Provide a name for the list of tags or leave it to default version.
    • Archives: Provide a name for the list of archives or leave it to default version.
    • Authors: Provide a name for the list of authors or leave it to default version.
    • Posts: Provide a name for the list of posts or leave it to default version.

Gallery Page

  • Layout. You can choose the layout of the page from provided options.
  • Content Area Width. You can specify the content area width of the page.
  • Main Column Width. You can specify the main column width of the page.
  • Primary Widget Area Width. In case of two sidebar layout you can specify the primary widget area.
  • Full Width Page. By checking the box the content area of your page will be stretched to the full width of the screen.
  • Number of Posts per Page. Define the number of posts to be displayed for the page.
  • Select Blog Categories. Select the categories of the posts to be displayed within the page.
  • Show Comment Form. By checking the box you can enable comment box on your page.

SEO Section
In advance go to Theme Options > SEO > Single Post/Page SEO.

      • Custom Title. Check the box to provide custom title for the post.
      • Meta Description. Check the box to provide meta description for the post.
      • Meta keywords. Check the box to provide meta keywords for the post.

Return to your page and fill in SEO meta tags in SEO Section.

  • Title. Provide metatitle for your page.
  • Description. Provide meta description for your page.
  • Keywords. Provide meta keywords for your page.
