Performing a new installation
To configure Image Optimizer plugin on your website from WordPress administrative dashboard, you will need to install WD Manager plugin first. It is a free, user-friendly tool which lets you easily manage all your Web-Dorado plugins with just a few clicks. Follow the steps below to install it.
Log in to your account of Web-Dorado.com, then navigate to My Account > My Products page. Download WD Manager from here.
Then go to WordPress admin area your website and sign in as an administrator user. Go to Plugins page and press Add New.
Click Upload Plugin button, afterwards press Choose File.
Find .zip installation package of WD Manager plugin, and click Install Now.
In case you face errors during this installation, please try to upload WD Manager to your website using FTP connection:
- Access your website files through an FTP client software (e.g. FileZilla).
- Navigate to /wp-content/plugins directory from the root folder of your website.
- Unzip the archived package of WD Manager plugin, then upload /wd-manager folder to /wp-content/plugins, without modifying files.
- Sign in to WordPress dashboard of your site and go to Plugins page.
- Find WD Manager plugin and click Activate.
As the installation is finished, navigate to WD Manager page and click on Plugins sub-menu item. Navigate to Purchased Plugins page and hit Reload. You will see the Pro version of Image Optimizer plugin and can install it from this page.
In case you have other Web-Dorado plugins, you can quickly install, update, activate or deactivate them using WD Manager.
