Adding the plugin manually...

Joris K. created the topic: Adding the plugin manually...

Hi,

I wonder how to insert the plugin manually in the theme. I really would like to place it in my header.php. Could you tell me if it is possible, and, if yes, the name of the PHP function to include?

Thanks by advance!

Dear Joris,

Insert this code in your header file:

front_end_Spider_Zoom()

Thank you very much for your fast answer!

I already tried this, but it doesn't display the buttons. Not even an error, nothing at all.

The plugin only displays the buttons if I add the shortcode in a post. Then they are well displayed, but the JavaScript doesn't work. I have these errors:

Uncaught ReferenceError: changeFontSize_my is not defined
Uncaught ReferenceError: revertStyles_my is not defined
Uncaught ReferenceError: changeFontSize_my is not defined

Do you think the two problems are related?

Again, thank you very much for your help.

Dear Joris,

Please revert your changes, and give us a link (to [email protected]) to your site and temporary admin user account, and also FTP access and we will try to find out the problem as soon as possible.

After searching for a while, I resolved the JavaScript problems.

But I still can not display the PHP function manually in the header.php file. It is strange because when I put the code [Web-Dorado_Zoom], it works fine...

Unfortunately, I can not give you a FTP access because I am currently working on my Localhost, but I will try something different if you do not have the answer to my problem: creating a dynamic "div" in my header.php where I will put the Zoom Widget.

Thanks!

OK, this is resolved. I just forgot to "echo" the function. Hahaha I feel so stupid... Now this works perfectly. Sorry because I wasted your time, and thank you for your help!
