An exclusion field on admin edit page would be much apreciated.

For me it is important to exclude a slider with text in it from beeing zoomed

Unfortunately Zoom plugin for WordPress does not have the functionality to exclude certain sections.

There are options to exclude some HTML tags, so in case your slider text is a unique block on the page, you can uncheck the corresponding tag option from Zoom settings.
