Can you please help me figure out how can i put my posts based on categories chosen under Latest News.

Dear Abdelhamid,

Please go to Theme Options > Homepage > Hide Top Posts section. Please click the the checkbox with the following label:

Check the box to display the top posts from the homepage.

You can set the title of the section and please choose the category, which posts need to be displayed. Please see the attachment.
