Sauron - control images on "Top posts:Portfolio"

Brian McQueen created the topic: Sauron - control images on "Top posts:Portfolio"

I have Sauron Pro. I use the "Top posts: Portfolio" feature and have it configured to "Choose Posts From Pages." I would like to:

1 - change the image from using the first image on the page to a different image that may or may not be on the page. I was able to stop using the first image, but then I just get the camera picture. How can I point the image it uses to another image on my site.

2 - change the order of the posts - I want to manually order them as the order I want is neither alphabetical nor is it by date.

Thank you for your help.

Hey Brian! Thank you for posting your questions!

1. Looks like Grab the first post image option is enabled on your Sauron theme in Theme Options > General tab. You can keep this option on, but if you set Featured Image for each of your posts, you'll be able to use any image you wish.

2. The posts are ordered by posted date, title and slug. So if you don't want to appear them based on posted date or title, you can modify the slugs of your posts and have them to display in the order you need. Make sure to set Order by to Slug on each section of Theme Options > Homepage tab.

Hope that helps.
Thanks! Have a good day!
