Can someone explain to me (in simple terms) what is the real difference between these two products?

I am currently using Event Calendar WD (on a 6 month paid subscription) but I'm having trouble getting it to display like it does in the Demo - I'm waiting for support to get back to me on that issue - but in the meantime, I'm wondering if I should have gone for Spider Calendar (or another product entirely) instead.

My organisation hosts multiple activities per day, that repeat for any number of weeks, before taking a break and restarting, plus they hold both one-off and periodic events. I trialled and purchased Event Calendar WD as it had 5 star reviews - only slightly more than Spider, but looking at the Spider Demo, I prefer what I am seeing.

Firsly let me inform you, that Event Calendar WD is a new plugin, it was created last year. Whereas Spider Calendar is much older. Also, Event Calendar WD is in active development and we provide its functionality with each weekly update.

Therefore, Event Calendar WD has more modern design and functionality, so we would recommend you to keep that plugin, instead of getting Spider Calendar.
