I just noticed that I need to updated my plugin. As per instructions, it states to delete/deactivate the older plugin --> then install the new one.

Will I lose all my custom settings ? If so, is there another way to update without this process?

Nish, unfortunately for now we have only this way to update the plugins and themes, but we are working to make it automatic soon.

Please feel free to deactivate delete the old version and install the new version, no data will be lost.

Only if you have made code editing in plugin files, this may be lost
