Hi Matthew!

Thank you for posting your questions!

Firstly please export a created map with a couple of markers from Google Maps WD. You should use the same format when creating the markers for the file which is going to be imported to your map.

As for hyperlinks, please try adding the links into the description using HTML syntax as follows:
<a href=" www.google.com/ ">Link text</a>
