What format supports both windows and Apple; Windows is flash and Apple mp4.

I formatted my videos in HTML5 which was render as mp4.

I can seem to get videos to work on both softwares.

Thanks for the reply;

Am I correct in assuming that it is not the software package (Windows, Apple, Android...) but the browser that will dictate whether a video will play or not.

Danny,

Yes. If for example you set the player priority to Flash. And will open the player in the browser that does not support flash, for example on iDevices or Android phones, or Safari then the player will automatically switch to HTML5.
