Thank you for the screenshot, the problem is understood. The plugin is supposed to bring up the category you have selected in Select Categories section of the shortcode popup.

Could you please submit a support ticket by sending us temporary WordPress administrator access to your website? You can forward the details using the contact form on this page . Our developers will take a look and provide a solution to the problem as soon as possible.
