just downloaded the Spider Contacts and installed on a Joomla! 2.5.16 Site.

But I can't reach the admin of the component on the backend.

I am getting error or Raw Decode Data in Safari.
Trying with Chrome and Firefox result is the same. A compression error.

Have any clues ?

Try disabling GZip compression and give it a shot.

Did disabling of GZip solve your issue ?

It did. I did a little research and realized the "decode raw data" has to do with the compression. So I just disabled all of my compression on my site and it fixed it on the back-end and the front-end.
