Can't translate to German...

Hello Spider-Catalog-Team,

I try to generate an new language file:
de-DE.com_spidercatalog.ini
and put it in:
root/language/de-DE
but nothing happens. :(

I can translate the frontend only if I change the file in
root/language/en-GB

Is this correct?

Which option I get to translate the backend?
There is no language file, only .sys - for Joomla menu. :dry:

Please note, that unfortunately the backend of Spider Catalog extension is not translatable. Is the frontend being translated, when you translate en_GB.com_spidercatalog.ini to de-DE.com_spidercatalog.ini?

Feel free to let us know in case there are problems regarding the frontend translations.

Thanks for your help.
The translation isn't working.
I try to copy my de-DE.com_spidercatalog.ini to:
root/language/en-GB
But the site still displayed in english. :(

If I rename the en-GB language file as well I get the variablenames on my site...

sorry I don't use your component in future.
Yesterday I found another free directory component
with much more features, working translation and
with mobile device support.
