I have a catalog divided into

main category
- subcategory
-- products

I assign to a menu item the main category and I would like to browser the subcategories and then clicking arriving to the products related to the subcategory chosen

I see instead a list with subcategories and products all mixed together

how can I achieve an acceptable result with the logic given

I will simplify my question:
I have put a menu with the list of subcategories (no products are shown)

I would like to click on subcategory and arrive the the products related to that subcategory, but the link produces nothings seems broken

any help with this

The subcategories actually should be redirecting to products page, I am guessing there are some problems with the menu structure. Could we please take a look at your catalog?

I have discovered the color is encoded in the view itself. Not even it's not configurable (and the full component was advertised as fully configurable in its graphical elements), but is also defined inside the HTML with !important statement (no way to change in the CSS)

I'm sorry to say, this extension does not worth 40USD (not even 10 considering the way it is coded)!

Unfortunately we could not see the broken links issue, since the page seems to be unpublished. But regarding the subcategory background, please note, that it is changed along with category background using Category title background color option from Styles and Colors.

for the background I mean what is listed here

the table with product image and description (per subcategory),
(yes: Subcategory name can be set by preferences)

but the table items background color change can be only edited changing the view.
Related to that I signal you also the bug in line 366 (spidercatalog/tmpl/default_cube2.php)

'"' is closed in the middle of the style declaration

the backcolor2 variable is anyway defined in the code not in the preferences

I understand to set it in the html style to avoid people to override declaration by CSS, and protect your demo version; but what's the need for me to buy the full version if I have anyway to edit the view (and I cannot define the rest of the component appearance -not modifiable in the config- with css)

As for the table background, that's correct, unfortunately the options aren't available. But can you add a suggestion to our Submit your idea page? Our development team will consider working on these changes on further Spider Calendar versions.

They don't want to reinstall the package, since you have customized the extension, so they need to have access to the file system.

Unfortunately our development team is still not able to make any changes on your website. Extplorer extension is throwing an error, when they try to save the changes.

Could you please make a backup of the customized files and install the latest version of Spider Catalog? You will need to replace the modifications after proceeding with the update.
