I am trying to make it so that when a catalog is chosen, certain brands show on top/first. I have created the products, associated them with the brands (as categories), and created the product categories.

For example, when sorting by "Category" i. e. "CATV" I want the brand "Radiodetection" products to come up first. This should be accomplished by going into the categories and giving "Radiodetection" category a lower number like "1". I assume the others should be numbered accordingly.

This solution is not saving and obviously not working. I need to launch this site asap. Please advise.

Thanks for your inquiry.

Eugene, please enter products section from the back end. There you'll see Order column, please order the products per your requirements. Please make sure to click on tiny Save button that appear right after the "Order". This should solve your issue.

I have done that within the category section but it doesn't work. I also tried with individual products but that didn't work either.
