Google is reporting 100+ Soft 404 errors

Laura O created the topic: Google is reporting 100+ Soft 404 errors

I received an error from Webmaster Tools this morning stating that Google is reporting 100+ soft-404 errors relating to Spider Calendar. The issue started January 19.

Here's an example: marblecliff.org/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?...org/&cat_id&widget=0

Dear Laura,

Could you please copy some of the 404 error reports here, so I can forward them to our developers and ask them to take a look?

Thanks in advance!

Hopefully this works; please let me know if you need them in another format.

Dear Laura,

We did some research and here's when Google throws these errors.

All these links are calendar attributes called with AJAX. They don't have <head>, <title> and other HTML elements, so Google thinks they are 404 Not Found pages.

This will not affect to your website indexing, so don't worry about it. However, I have reported a bug to our developers for this case, and we will include better indexing features for these AJAX calls in further updates of Spider Calendar.

Thank you!
