Currently dates are being displayed as day/month/year. How can I change that format?

Greg, please enter Spider Calendar > themes > select your theme > Pop-up window Parameters > Date format in pop-up (w/d/m/y)

Here you can change the format.

I can't change this in the free version can I? Is this only allowed in the PRO version?

Yes, themes are available only in the pro version.

So I tried changing this in the Demo admin area and it doesn't look like it is being applied in the popup details. The date still looks like this:

Date:05/04/2012 - 29/04/2020 13:18-15:54
Repeat Every Week(s) on : Tuesday

The date on the title bar of the popup looks correct. The format for the popup I have as w/m/d/y but also tried m/d/y and it still shows the same as above (this is in the content of the popup at the top).

Thoughts on how to fix this before I purchase this?

Hi Greg,

I have tested also, and you are right it changes the date only in the very top of the calendar. We'll update the plugin soon and will solve this issue. Time format will apply to the lower date too.

Please be aware that time format will work only for the pop-up, not for the list view.

Was researching and trying to see how to change this date format on the Popup Window Parameters to: 01/05/2017 (& not 05/01/2017) --- this drives folks crazy!

I have tried the w/d/m/y format that you had mentioned previously (& appears to be the default), but it does not work.

You also stated earlier that an upgrade was being prepared to fixed this... and I need a resolution asap please. I've got the 'Pro' version of the plugin.

I do not see the update as of this morning. What version is the update? I currently have 2.5.46 and have had that version for a few months now.

The paid version that I've got is 2.5.44, and not getting notice that there's a new version to download from the dashboard. The version on WordPress.org to download is showing version 1.5.47. Now I'm curious how KPS has a newer version!?!? Please advise.

To get the latest pro version, please login at web-dorado.com > go to My account and download Spider Calendar's latest version.

I appreciate the new plug-in update, and I have downloaded it. Since the plugin dashboard is not telling me that there is a new version to download and update, I tried just installing it and get an error stating that it failed due to the fact that 'the destination folder already exists.'

Since I've gotten months calendar information already stored and don't want to lose it, how am I suppose to install this update??? And why doesn't the plugin dashboard tell us when you have a new version of the plugin?

Please enter the Plugins' section, deactivate and delete your old version and install the new version.

No data will be lost.

Hello again.... I followed your instructions, and deactivated the plugin, deleted it & installed your latest version, and when I click on the event & the pop-out window comes up, it is still showing the date wrong at the top of the screen: See attached.

Example: 2/6/17 thru 2/10/17 is showing 06/02/17 - 10/02/17 (which most folks would think that is Feb. 6, 2017 - October 2, 2017).

And is there a way you can give us a couple of spaces after the 'Date:' line so the date won't be so squashed next to the colon: !?!

Please send me a screenshot of your time format settings. It seems you have changed it, because in the top part of the window it again shows the same format.

I am attaching a file for you to review. When I click on an event on the calendar, the pop-out window has the date correctly formatted. However, when the Widget pop-out window opens, this is the one that has the date formatted differently (military style).

I am attaching screen scraps of the Calendar theme pop-out window & Theme Edit screens, and the second page has the Widget theme pop-out window and the results of the pop-out window when clicked from the Widget sidebar. I have both calendar & widget edits the same, so not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's just a glitch.

I believe I've finally got a resolution and have it fixed now. However, I do have one other question that I'd like to see if there's a resolution too.

When the calendar lists more than one activity (& I have the 'Show numbers for event' option set to YES, is there some way to have a line between the events?

I am attaching an example of one of my calendars so you can see.
