Spider calendar cripples weblayout

KHV created the topic: Spider calendar cripples weblayout

Hi,

I am testing spider calendar on localhost.
I use Gantry5 Themes to design my weblayout.
In the content section I create a left module position 25%, the page content 50%, right module position 25%.
Displaying the calendar of maintaining the calendar in the page content cripples the right module position, as it projects itself over the content of the right module position. I share screenprints.
Before I decide ti puchase the calendar It must be possible to keep the calendar within the borders of the page content.
Looking into the PHP files (and page sourcecode) gives me a bad feeling about the possibilities to solve the problem as I see hard coded numbers for pixels in stead of percentages.

Klaas

Dear Klaas,

Thanks for letting us know about this issue!

Could you please give us the link to your calendar page, so we can take a look at the problems? Their might CSS conflicts, which we will try to solve without admin access.

Thank you!

Agapi,
Thanks for your answer.
As I am testing on local host, I cannot give the web address.
Maybe you can give a hint, so I cab dive deeper into this and keep you hooked in the results.

Dear Klaas,

Here's what you can do, which might be a good solution to the problem.

As the login button covers the calendar, make sure that its container physically has a width. The blocks might have float style property, which breaks the auto height.

You can assign clear property to them to get the width back.

If this doesn't work, you can add top padding to the calendar container, which is the element with #bigcalendar113182639 ID. The numbers can be different, since they are generated, but you can get the exact ID by inspecting the element with your browser developer tools.

Let me know if this works for you.
Thank you!

Hi,

That doesn't help much.
So I created a testsite on www.fluve.nl/Immanuel

Choice "programma"
Choice "maandplan"

The content has the same layout structure as my localhost test.

Dear user,

The look is very strange and any added CSS does not seem to make any difference. So since the website is live now, could we please take a look at the problem from your website backend?

Please send temporary admin access to [email protected], and also make sure to include the URL to this forum topic in your e-mail.

Our developers will resolve the issue on your site as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance!
