Is there a way to program a slider at the bottom of my page to ignore previously posted articles, and not duplicate already posted articles? I hope I worded that alright....

I'd like to do this:

Blog Post 1 [most recent]
another module
another module
Blog Post 2 [second most recent]
Blog Post 3 [third most recent]
and so on.....
