I have been trying to wrap text around the slider, but I have been unable to. I have tried:

but have been unable to get it to work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Of course it could be possible to modify the layout of the slider a little bit and wrap text around it implementing CSS code. However, I'd highly recommend you to not do that and use a page builder plugin to achieve that view.

There is a nice free page builder plugin on WordPress.org, which you can use:
wordpress.org/plugins/siteorigin-panels/

You can use it only on pages, where you'd like to place slider and wrap text around it. Could you please try this plugin and let us know if it works for you?
