Is there a way to export and import a slider. For example I create the slider on a development server and want to transfer it to a live server, is there an easy way to move them from site to site?

Please make sure to copy the plugin folder from the first site to the second, as well as its databases.

We develop using a WP Multisite so exporting a database is not really an option. Is there another way to do it?

Please be informed, that export/import functionality for Slider WD itself is not implemented yet. So it is necessary to export the tables for Slider WD manually. If will to do this, let us know in case you need any help with it.
