Can I remove slider title in home page in the free version of this plugin?

Could you please tell us which title are you mentioning to? Have you added the slider in a post and title is appearing? Also please give us a link, where we can see the slider and its title.

Could we remove "slider" from the home with free version?

That is the post title of the page where you've placed your slider. Could you please try deleting the title? Please note, that its visibility is controlled with your website theme and not Slider WD.
