I want to add a shadow to the slider, but the documentation is not very helpful. Can you please give some example what we should type in the Shadow setting box, from the Global Settings screen please. The documentation simply says "Shadow. Set a slider shadow using CSS type values." So what are some CSS type values we can use?

Please add the CSS to the class of your slider, i.e. for a filmstrip slider:

.wds_slideshow_image_wrap_0 {
    box-shadow: 10px 10px 5px #888888;
}

That works only if I put it in my theme's stylesheet, which is fine. It does not work when I put it in the slider's "Shadow" settings box, which is also fine.

For the record, I added to your css code to be compatible with all the browsers...

.wds_slideshow_image_wrap_0 {
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 15px 20px -10px black !important;
-moz-box-shadow: 0 15px 20px -10px black !important;
box-shadow: 0 15px 20px -10px black !important;
}
