Would it be possible to change the date format in the date overlay to show 22/03/2016 or 22 maart 2016 instead of the standard 2016-03-22?

Unfortunately there are no options to change date format in Post Slider WD. However, we can make a small customization on Pro version of the plugin and modify date display as necessary.
