Load Form into Joomla Module

Ruth Dehne created the topic: Load Form into Joomla Module

Is it possible to load a form maker form into a joomla module? Is there a work around for this? My client does not want the form to be accessible from a menu item. He wants it to stand out and be available through a module. I can't seem to accomplish this.

Joomla 2.5
Form Maker 2.5

Thank you.

Dear Ruth,

Yes, it is possible. You can find the steps how to insert it here: web-dorado.com/form-maker-guide-step-6/6-2.html

Thank you for your timely reply.

The Form Maker module works except that I do not want the form displayed with that module. I want it to link to a different page. By using the instructions you sent, the form prints over top of the other information on the page. See attachment photo.

This is the page I would like the module to go to:
stclaircountyrepublicans.com/public_html...n-up-for-e-mail-list

The form works great by adding it to an article then making a link to it from the menu. However, the client does not want it in the menu. He wants it to stand out by putting the link in a module where it can have the blue heading and stand out more. So I made a link using a "custom HTML" module and it works. But because he does not want a link from the menu, just a link from the module, I turned off the menu item and end up with a 404 error. But as you saw with the image I sent last time, if I add a Form Maker Module, there is no real 'link' to another page. It just prints the form over whatever is on the page.

I will give you access if you will tell me where to send the information.

Thank you.

Dear Ruth,

Could you please give us (to [email protected]) admin access to your site, by indicating the forum post link in your email subject. Also please tell us the exact module position where you want to insert it. We'll try to fix the problem as soon as possible.
