Formmaker for joomla produces PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 0

Peter Smits created the topic: Formmaker for joomla produces PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 0

Hi
i do have a problem with sending emails from formmaker
Some of the submissions do not send email to the owner
I was using php mailer to send mails
I found the following error in the server log
PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 0 1 and 2
This offset is used when sending attachments, but I did not activate attachments !!
The statement is $mail->AddEmbeddedImage($attachment_temp[0], $attachment_temp[1], $attachment_temp[2]);

It appears to me that the statement if ($attachment) is not working properly in Joomla 3.7.4

Hi Anoush

I did not get this personnally, it was reported by the owner of the site to me
I could not believe it as there where entries in the submission table
I then looked into the log of the server and found the error
So I suspect that this was the reason of not getting the form mail
I did test the form myself and did get the mail also the owner did get the mail
I also changed the mailer to sendmail and made a minor fix in the program
if(isset($attachment_temp[0]))
So I hope this fixes the problem for me, but it is not a good solution
Regards,
Peter

The person that did enter values in the form is using the standard mail from Windows 10 !!

Hi Anoush

Thanks for your support
It appeared that the mail server did not accept more than 50 mails per day
It looks like the server did not send the mails due to this limit
We did sent a minor mailing to our relations that day
The amount has been increased and now we do get the mails
Do you still need the login ??
If so I will pass them on with the contact form
Have a nice day !!

Dear Peter,

Thanks for letting us know about this.
There is no need to provide the admin details as the limitations does not come from Form Maker.

Thanks and have a great weekend!
