Sorry, but I can´t explain well in english but I will try it.
I can set the image directory to my picture folder. (images/stories)
There are images uploaded via ftp or used with different modules (but the gallery don`t show them in the backend). I have to upload first, befor I can use them.
Is there no possibility to use the (old) uploaded images in the images folder?

Dear Frank,

If you need to upload your images via FTP, please make sure to add them to media/com_gallery_wd/uploads folder. Afterwards please go to your gallery backend, select the images and click Reset. The thumbnails will be created this way.

I don´t have a folder like that. I´m using Joomla. The default place for all images is "images\stories\"
But I want to use the images on the webspace without uploading again.
The upload function in the wd-gallery is working fine. But in this state, I got double work.
I hope u understand my problem ....

In that case please try setting images/stories for Images directory option in Galery WD > Options > Global Options. A subfolder titled com_gallery_wd will be created under it.

There should also be two folders under it, and in uploads .original folder as well. Please copy your images to .original and Reset them from your gallery's backend.

Thanx a lot. Now it`s working fine.
I wonder why it shows only "root" in the backend of the image folder.
But now I see the uploaded images and could create my galleries.

Another question: Do you think about german translation for your gallery tool?

We are glad the problem was sorted out. As for your question about German translation, please be informed, that the frontend can be translated by translating the file [lang code].com_formmaker.ini in the language folder of your Joomla site. The English version of this file, en-GB.com_formmaker.ini, is included in the package.

But if you are referring to the backend translation, unfortunately it is not translatable yet.
