2 ) Can it be set to show analytics for certain posts (custom taxonomies) per user?

1. Firstly please note, that Google Analytics WD plugin impacts the site speed as Google Analytics does. In fact, the plugin simply takes what Google Analytics does.

2. Could you please specify this question a little bit? We didn't understand the part regarding users quite well. Would you like to have statistics of custom taxonomies based on each user?

3. Goals can be set up through the plugin. They only thing that is missing here are events, which will be added with an update later also.

4. We regularly update Google Analytics WD plugin, improve its functionality and add new features. So in case you have suggestions or functionality requests, you are more than welcome to share!

Does this software track each pages history? I set it up and it seems to only track the main page?

Is your website a single-page application? In case it is, you need to add a couple of lines of code to /wd-google-analytics/admin/tracking.php file. The line which tracks pages is ga('send', 'pageview'); you need to replace it with this two lines:

ga('set', 'page', pagename);
ga('send', 'pageview');
