I'm getting the following when I try and activate Google Analytics WD

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home2/sanjuan/public_html/nlh/wp-content/plugins/wd-google-analytics/gawd_class.php on line 1429

Would it make any difference if I already had some Google Analytics code embedded via the Theme custom options?

I just spoke to our development team, turns out, that this issue is related to the PHP version of your website. They will fix the plugin and release an update very soon.

Please install it after deactivating and deleting current version.

What version of php is this compatible with?

I'm able to authenticate but then the front end of the site goes blank, only on my server running php 5.6.

^ your reply helped me realize that a new plugin version (5.0.5) fixing my php 5.6 issue was released a few days ago.

Would be nice if the plugin's "updates" page in the WP admin notified that an update was available instead of just listing the current version.

Glad to be of help. Support fixed my first install but did not update to the new version so I thought I'd try it and all works great.

You install the header and footer insert Plugin for wordpress blog perfectly. No need to edit the PHP you see.
I used a lot of efficiency without fear of error code. Love!
