Dear David,

Read the section named "Actions after Submission" in our user guide here: web-dorado.com/form-maker-guide-2.html

Support replied the topic: Re: Your form was successfully submitted.

Dear David,

The message "Your form was successfully submitted" is sent using Joomla standard message system.
The easiest way to remove this message is to modify the file language/en-GB/en-GB.com_formmaker.ini.

Change the lines 10-11
From
WDF_SUBMITTED=Your form was successfully submitted.
WDF_MAIL_SENT=Your form was successfully submitted.

To
WDF_SUBMITTED=
WDF_MAIL_SENT=

Support replied the topic: Re: Your form was successfully submitted.

Dear Phil,

Go to your ftp and under your joomla directory find the folder language\en-GB there should be a file named en-GB.com_formmaker.ini. This is the file you need to edit.

Neo replied the topic: Re: Your form was successfully submitted.

Hi,

I have disabled the message as descibed here.

My question is this: is it possible to set the form maker so it doesn't reload the page after submitting the form. I have placed the form in a tabs module and because after submission the page is reloaded user can't see the custom text (action after submission).

Best regards.

Neo replied the topic: Re: Your form was successfully submitted.

This would be possible if the confirmation is opened as second page of the form after submission (that is how this works in another forms component). Could this be done the same way in Form maker?

Best regards.

Dear Neo,

Yes. You can do that by setting action after submission to another article.

Neo replied the topic: Re: Your form was successfully submitted.

I'm not sure if you understood what i wanted to say, or perhaps i don't understand you. What you propose is to set action after submission to open another page of the site... This is not the solution for my problem - i don't want the page to reload or to go to another page. What i wanted to say is if there was an option in Form Maker to make the last page of the form "thank you" page and this would show after clicking the submit button on previous page of the form. Do you have any suggestions how to do that.

Dear Neo,

Oh, I see now. By default this is not possible, but can be done as a customization for additional fee. If you are interested in it, please contact us at [email protected] for more details.

Agapi G. replied the topic: Re: Your form was successfully submitted.

Dear Eva,

Unfortunately Joomla Form Maker does not have the mentioned functionality.

However please note, that you can create a separate page with any content and styles you need, and add it as a redirection URL in Actions after submission. Could you please try this and let me know if it works for you?

Thank you!

Kind regards,
