is it possible to use Facebook Feed WD with a private Facebook profile or do I need to have a Facebook app ?
I read something about your Pro version, that it might be able to access a profile.

Thanks for your inquiry.

In no way it is possible to show private profile info in the website.

You can show only public profile, group and page content in the post/page.
