E-mail works for User but not Administrator

Adam created the topic: E-mail works for User but not Administrator

We have a contact form builder using WordPress. After a visitor submits the form, e-mail is generated to the user thanking them for their submission. However, the e-mail to the admin is NOT working. Nothing is in the SPAM folder or inbox. Any suggestions?

EDIT: We also have the TO: and FROM: for the admin e-mail using an address the same as the domain.

Hello Adam!

Our development team found out what is causing the issue. Looks like your website admin generally does not send e-mails. Our developers simply tested to see if the site sends mails, but it failed the test.

You might ask, why is the user e-mail being sent in that case. Please be informed, that this e-mail is being sent from one specific e-mail address, which is the following: [email protected]. And it seems to be a hosting account-related address.

Luckily this problem can be quickly resolved by your hosting provider. Most probably Sendmail is not enabled there. Could you please contact them and ask them to take a look?

Thank you, have a fun Friday!
