XML

Johan Heyde created the topic: XML

Hello,
I bought a pro version of Contact Form Builder. All seem toe word fine.
But I don't know what I have to do to transport my submitions in XML.
When I do, I can't get a nice XML form on my pc. I get a lot of code in 1 kolom, and there are no submitions to read.
What am I doing wrong? Is there some more tutorials on how toe do it?
Thxs

ps When I do this on your demo version, I get the same result.

Dear Johan,

We've checked on our demo and it seems to export normally. Please check the screenshot attached, the highlighted areas are the submitted values.

Could you please tell us how you need the XML to look like? And also let us know where do you need to transport it.
Thank you.

Best regards,

Goodmorning,
Thx for your answer.

Maybe I have a whole wrong idea about that XML thing.
I expexted to see a sheet, where the koloms are filled with the fields that customers had filed in.

When I open the XML file in 'openofficewriter' I get a simmulair vieuw like you show in your PNG.
When I open in in 'openofficecalc' it looks like you can see in my attachment.
I would like to see colums filed with tje fields, so that we can sort on name, adrress, foon, etc....

Kind regards

ps: I like what you can do with the plugin.. nice work from your team.

Dear Johan,

Thank you for your kind feedback.
Looks like what you need is a CSV export of submissions and not XML. Could you please try exporting the submissions as CSV with its corresponding button?

Please check the screenshot attached. That is how the submissions exported as CSV look.
Thank you.

Hello,

Thx for the solution.
I knew I was the problem :)

When I did CSV and I wanted to open it by double-click, it opend in Notepad++, so I could not do enything with it.

So for the others who have the same problem. You open the csv file with 'openofficecalc' or with 'office exel'
and you can sort with the content how ever you want.

Very nice plugin and good service where I am concerned.
So this problem is solved.
Thank You

Dear Johan,

Yes, CSV can be opened with the mentioned programs. The most recommended is MS Office Excel. Please feel free to let us know in case you have any other questions with the plugin.
And thank you for your kind feedback.
