FAQ backup

Barry Mossman created the topic: FAQ backup

It doesn't look like FAQ questions, categories, etc are backed up by Wordpress Dashboard Tools|Export.

What is the strategy to keep a backup version of FAQ data?

Dear Barry,

You can only export posts/pages with Wordpress Dashboard Tools|Export. In order to back-up FAQ , you should back-up its database.

Dear Barry,

You should just back-up WordPress Spider FAQ tables in your MySQL database.

Probably a good thing to put in your manual.

My site has a sub-domain, and has two sql databases. How do i tell which one is used by the WP site that I am working upon. I don't see it (the database name) in the WP dashboard.

Dear Barry,

The FAQ tables are with spiderfaq text in their names. You can easily find it.

I am asking about the name of the database, not the table.

My site has two databases, how do I tell which database is used by the WP app that I am working on?

Dear Barry,

You can find it in wp-config.php file in your directory. It is in the following line: define('DB_NAME', 'Your database name');
