Hi, every morning I receive an e-mail that looks like a form has been filled out and submitted. However the form has rubbish text in the fields. Is this normal or have I been hacked in some way?

Dear Nick,
Most probably some visitors of your site fill in this rubbish text and click submit. Do you have this submissions in the submissions page of the admin panel?

If I do a test it also appears as it should.
