Installation okay, but can't add any Form Field

Christian created the topic: Installation okay, but can't add any Form Field

Hello,

we want to switch our normal Website to Wordpress (for an hobby club, on my Private Seite i use WP since Version 1.xx).

I installed today a new WP Blog 3.4.1 and the Plugin Form Maker.

I click on Form Maker --> Manager --> Add a Form --> give a Title, Mail Adress --> and now on the site to choose the fields (blue fields). But nothing is happened when i click on a field. Also the save and cancel Buttons have no effect.

On your Demo Admin Site it works fine in my Browser.

So i delete an installed the Plugin another time, with the same result.

Have you an hint for me?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards
Christian

Dear customers,
This happens, when you have javascript errors on your admin pages. This errors can be caused by another plugin. If you are sure that you do not have any javascript errors from other plugins, please give us (to email [email protected]) a temporary admin user account to your site, and we will try to find out the problem.

How can you tell if other plugins are interfering with it?

Dear customers,
There was a bug in WordPress Form Maker. Now the bug is fixed. We have installed the fixed version on Kirstie's site. The others need to download the plugin again.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for finding the bug.

Hello, the fix works fine on single site installation. We now changed to multi-site (sub-domain) installation and there the same problem occurs.

Can you fix this?

Rob Land

Dear Rob,
Could you please be more specific when describing your problem? What do you mean by multi-site (sub-domain) installation?

What I mean is that we did a multi-site installation of WordPress, after that we installed the Form script. When I execute the form script it has the same errors when adding form fields.

Dear Rob,
The problem is that you have "Network Activated" Form Maker. Form Maker creates its tables when you activate the plugin. When you "Network Activate", the tables are created in main database, so you are facing problems on the other sites.

If you "Network Deactivate" Form Maker and Activate it for every site separately, Form Maker should work properly.
