Adding new form fields by clicking on a button

Konstantin created the topic: Adding new form fields by clicking on a button

Hello,

is there a way to copy form fields (in Form Maker) when clicking on a "add" button?

Example:
I have a form with a few fields like a textbox for the name and date field for entering the age.
What i want to do is when the visitor of the page clicks on a "add" button (not submission button), the same two fields should appear below (should be copied) so that multiple user can be entered.

Is there a way to copy (or remove) fields at runtime and if so, how can this be achieved?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Konstantin!

Thank you for posting your question!

Unfortunately Form Maker does not have this functionality exactly. But could you please give us the link to your form and explain how the additional fields need to be generated? I will try to find a workaround for this.

Thanks! Have a wonderful day!

I have a similar questions, which depending on your answer might also be a work around for Konstantin.

In the Registration Form demo, how do we create the "Do you want additional information?" slider button, and how do we make that button reveal the hidden form fields? Are there limits to how many fields can be displayed in this way?

Greetings!

Thanks for your question!
This setup is done with Conditional Fields of Form Maker. The toggle button is not yet available in the themes of Form Maker (we are working on this), but you can create the condition with Single or Multiple Choice fields.

Add as many additional fields as you wish to have, and then navigate to Form Options > Conditional Fields tab. Click Add Condition button and configure it based on the following logic:

Show [Additional Field 1] if all of the following match:
[Show more fields] is [Yes]

Hope this helps.
Thanks! Have a wonderful day!
