Form maker submission, generate post
Kimberly Allard created the topic: Form maker submission, generate post
The whole purpose of my purchasing Form Maker Pro was to get submissions from other people on their projects. to be included on my website. I also purchased the generate post add on, and I am having trouble getting everything to function as I want it.
I would like the upload (image) to be part of the post. On one of my forms, it asks for only one image. On the other form, it asks for two images to be uploaded. I do see the link for the images under submissions, but I want it to be part of the post. It also doesn't show up in my gallery.
What is the best way to get the image in the post?

Hello Kimberly!
Thank you for posting your question!
Could you please check the screenshot I posted below? There's a setting among Form Options > Post Generation options, that's titled Featured Image. When you add an upload field to your form, it becomes available for selecting with this option.
If the configuration is done correctly, but the images aren't being set as featured images of generated posts, please give us temporary WordPress administrator of your website. You can send the login information using
this form
.
Also make sure to mention the link to this forum thread in your message. Our development team will check the problem as soon as possible and figure out a solution.
Thanks! Have a great day!
Kind regards,

Yes, I had that in my generate post area. When it generates the post, there is not photo available. I don't know if there is a general setting in posts that is missing that lets there be a "featured image".
Let me look at it some more before I give administrative login information.
Also, what if there are two uploads? What would happen then?
Here is the image, and I can insert the image using the URL, which is what I ended up doing, but figured it was supposed to work a different way.

Hey Kimberly!
Sure, please take a look and open the support ticket whenever it's necessary for you.
As for your second question about multiple uploaded images, please note, that the last selected image will be set as the featured image.
Thank you! Have a good day!
Kind regards,
