Hi there i have the free version at the moment of this form. I want to upgrade it but before i do that i wanted to test it to see if it works well.

I tried trouble shooting but I am unable to get it fixed.
Once the form is filled and i hit submit it says thank you but no email is received at the email address i have configured with that form.

Its the employment form on my website and i have checked my emails and it seems like i can not get the form.

However in the submissions section on the website it has collected the information there but before i invest anything in this i would like this setting fixed in order to receive the emailed form application. the website is allurebodybar.com itsa wordpress site

I'm not an expert by any means but I ran into the same problem. When I searched on Google for help, I found a ton of people with issues for all kinds of form plug-ins - not just Form Maker.

For me, I was getting the email to the submitter but not getting the email to the administrator. The odd thing was that Wordpress was able to send mail to the Administrator when say, a new user was added.

From what I could tell, this has to do with the whacky world of email servers and anti-span settings that various hosting providers set up so that they, and all their clients, don't get blacklisted for sending spam. I wound up installing an SMTP plug-in and configuring it to send email through a mail account set up on my hosting provider via SMTP. Once I did that, I no longer had mail sending problems (fingers crossed).

The hosting settings are actually major problem throughout websites with forms. They usually put limitations to prevent spambots and this causes a lot of issues.

I purchased this plugin as it was very easy to use. I created my first form and tested it. I saw the submissions but was not getting any emails.

After banging my head on the desk for hours - I called the hosting company. My account had immediately been flagged as a SPAMMER - this was upon testing my first form.

I am now on the phone with GoDaddy to figure out what can be done....

**UPDATE** This was not related to the Form Maker plugin but most likely a WordPress security flaw. I recently updated WordPress to 4.7.2 - but a month ago it appears SPAM was sent using my hosting/email - which was most likely done via a vulnerability in WordPress. This caused my account to be flagged so that emails were no longer able to be sent from the hosting account.
