Captcha Problem

exceptionalsheets created the topic: Captcha Problem

We are using the trial version of Form Maker, and everything is simple and easy. Our problem is when we try to add Captcha to a form, the actual Captcha image just shows up as a grey box (mozilla) or box with a red x (ie). Could this be a permissions problem for the plug-in directory?

Thanks for your help.

No problem - I have set up a temp admin account and had the login credentials sent to [email protected]. You can see a form I created called captcha test, and see that it isn't working in the preview. Just let us know if you need any additional info.

Dear exceptionalsheets,

The problem seem to be a plugins directory permission issue. Please set the permissions for directory wp-content/plugins/form-maker to 755 and file permissions under that directory to 644.

If the problem persists give us an FTP access to your site and will try to solve the problem as soon as possible.

Hi - thanks for your help so far.

Our tech support guy gave us the following info on our permissions:

The permissions did not need to be adjusted. They are currently 755 for the directory they specified and 644 for files. I suggest having them review this again.

I have sent FTP login credentials to [email protected] if you want to take a look at it for us.

Thanks!
