How do I enforce a numeric range on a number entry (ie:1-500) & disallow higher & lower entries?

Unfortunately the number input or Range field don't have the mentioned functionality by default. You can either write additional Javascript, or alternatively place a Slider field from Survey tools.

I entered a slider, then had to remove it as it screwed up the page breaks and (seemingly) all the conditionals.

Also, the slider itself was not appearing properly. The start & end numbers showed, but nothing else.

We have checked both the conditionals and slider field problems and both of them appear to be working properly. There might be an extension on your browser, which is conflicting. Could you please check with another software?

I turned off 'Adblock' on the domain, everything seemed to be working, tested on chrome 44.0.2403.125 m,
firefox 39.0, IE 11.0.21 & safari 5.1.7.

Then I updated FormMaker to 2.7.63. The problem started up again, on all tested browsers, no add-ons

Whatever the bug was, things were fixed using 2.7.65. Then, updating to 2.7.66 broke things again.

yes, what you had done, fixed it. It "was" working. Then i updated to 2.7.66. Now it is no longer working.
